Tiffany Daugherty . . .

a Kentucky native, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with clinical experience and training in trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, as well as integrative health. A graduate of the University of Kentucky MSW program, she has built her career in rural and community based treatment settings, supporting individuals and families navigating addiction, mental health challenges and complex life transitions. Her work is rooted in the person-in-environment (PIE) perspective emphasizing strengths, resilience and the interconnections of personal, social, and environmental factors. Tiffany is committed to providing accessible, client-centered care and creating a therapeutic space where individuals feel understood, supported and empowered to make meaningful change.

With over two decades of dedicated service in the mental health field, Laura Slaughter, LCSW, LCADC, brings a profound depth of expertise to her clinical practice. Her diverse professional journey began with a decade-long focus on dual-diagnosis treatment, where she navigated the complex intersection of mental health and substance use disorders across residential, long-term, and outpatient settings. For the past ten years, Laura has transitioned into private practice, specializing in helping individuals navigate the intricate path of healing from complex trauma.

Highly skilled in evidence-based interventions, Laura is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). While she utilizes a versatile toolkit of therapeutic modalities tailored to each individual’s needs, her practice is anchored by a core philosophy: while techniques are essential, the most transformative healing occurs within the safety and trust of the therapeutic relationship. Her approach combines clinical rigor with a compassionate, relational foundation, ensuring that every client feels seen, heard, and supported in their recovery journey.
